Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour is giving everyone major FOMO. Not only is she performing banger after banger, but it appears she’s inviting surprise guests to join her on tour. On June 8, the icon tapped Venezuelan artist and DJ Arca to open for her show at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Barcelona, Spain, and fans can’t stop talking about it.

Beyoncé is giving it her all in this new tour, and it seems like each spectacle is different than the last. From the stage to the audience, each tour night has given us new content to look forward to. Recently, new videos have been circulating online of her daughter, Blue Ivy, dancing alongside her, as well as an abundant amount of celebrities joining her audience. Ad today, social media users were pleasantly astonished to see the opener DJ be Arca, who nobody saw coming.

“I cant believe arca is DJ-ing at beyoncé’s tour i’m so proud of her,” a Twitter user wrote. Another social media user echoed the same sentiment: “imagine going to a beyonce show and you fond out arca is opening….. that wouldnt have even crossed my mind as a possibility 2 years ago.”

Others are hoping that Queen Bey will bring Arca to more tour dates. “beyoncé is definitely not going to venezuela (no shade) so colombia is the closest thing. she needs to take arca here to open the show. i’m so serious,” a Twitter user said.

This is not the first time Arca has left her mark on Beyoncé’s tour. Eagle-eyed fans allegedly spotted the “El Alma Que Te Trajo” singer on the Renaissance World Tour’s visuals. A second visual allegedly shows Arca as a reporter in “KNTY NEWS” during “AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM.”

While Arca keeps her project on the low, it’s exciting to keep seeing her collaborate with mainstream artists. Previously, she’s worked with Rosalía on “KLK” and FKA Twigs on “holy terrain.”
