When talking about the Aguilar Dynasty, many people often include the patriarch Pepe Aguilar, along with his children Ángela Aguilar and Leonardo Aguilar. But did you know that Pepe also has an older son named José Emiliano Aguilar, better known as Emiliano Aguilar?
Emiliano is Ángela and Leonardo’s older half-brother from Pepe’s previous marriage to Carmen Treviño. The 32-year-old is widely known as an Internet personality and currently resides in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Though he might not tour with his famous family, the artist is creating his own musical pathway as a rapper. Recently, he released his newest rap song, “Con La Mirada Perdida” with Toser One. Past releases include “Listos Pal Desorden” with Beto Sierra, “Estado Activo” with Francisco El Gallo Elizalde, and “La Vida No Es Fácil” with Aldo Trujillo.
Beyond music, the older son is also known to be estranged from the rest of the Aguilars. In an episode of the Cracks Podcast with Oso Trava released earlier this year, Pepe revealed that he hasn’t talked to his son in two years. He alleged that there wasn’t any fight and that he doesn’t know why Emiliano doesn’t want to speak to him.
Moreover, though the two circumstances may not be connected, it is known that Emiliano got in trouble with the law for smuggling Chinese immigrants in 2017. He was sentenced to 18 days in jail after being arrested and was released on bond, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. He then received three years of probation with the first six months in home detention.

Although he has since distanced himself from the Aguilar Dynasty, he’s still in the public eye. Recently, he made headlines after getting into a physical altercation exiting an interview with popular radio and television personality Don Cheto’s show. On his way to meet with Don Cheto for an interview, Emiliano got caught in a fight with Jenni Rivera’s ex-partner Fernie, also known as “El Pelón,” after the latter allegedly provoked him. Emiliano claims that Don Cheto planted the fight because there was a recording of it and was released on his show. Don Cheto says that it was not a planned fight.
However, Emiliano is mostly focusing on his music career. Up next, he will be a part of Santa Fe Klan and Shoreline Mafia’s upcoming joint tour.
