That’s right, fam: Perreo NYC, our monthly party series, is headed to Mexico City for the first time ever. When we launched Perreo back in 2015, we envisioned a space where the people could turn up to early 00s reggaeton, dystopian techno, and Migos heaters all in one place.
We’re happy to announce that we’re taking that heavenly concoction down south. This Saturday, January 16, Perreo will take over Penthouse Palma in DF. Our resident Riobamba will return to the decks, spinning her brand of cosmic tropical bass and club tracks, alongside reggaetonera Rosa Pistola, ghetto house visionary Tahres One, club todólogo Sonido Berzerk, and NWLA‘s latest protégé New-Mix Papi. Special guests include Tony Money & Young Miky, as well as Zonora Point’s Jamez Manuel, who promises to bring a team of backup dancers to the stage.
To get you hype for Saturday, our very own Sonido Berzerk crafted an exclusive mixtape for us. It’s a behemoth blend of iLoveMakonnen edits, fractured grime remixes, and fuego Fuego tracks (ha, see what we did there). Hit play above to pregame the guaranteed lituation heading to DF on Saturday.
