Amara La Negra’s single “Insecure” started the countdown for the release of her still unannounced debut full-length, which will drop via major label titan BMG and Fast Life Entertainment. With production from Rock City’s Theron, the Love & Hip Hop: Miami star shared the heartfelt Caribbean pop track, in which she bares her soul and shows a softer side, compared to previous singles like the dembow-fueled Tidal exclusive “What a Bam Bam.”
In the single’s new music video, the Afro-Latina artist exposes her fears and insecurities in a raw, up-close performance until she breaks down in tears, creating a beautiful moment of intimacy. On Instagram, she wrote about how this shot was inspired by a toxic relationship: “Thinking of him…How he made me feel ‘INSECURE’ ugly, fat, unwanted. He made me feel as if I wasn’t worthy!”
Amara poses in a luxe mansion in a stunning gown, lovingly caressing a shirtless model – don’t miss her in that gorgeous yellow velvet dress, which makes her skin glow.
