Bunny Michael Preaches Techno Transcendence in “A.F.D.” Video

“A.F.D. (angel f*cking dream)” off Bunny Michael’s Rainbow Licker EP gets the video treatment, taking us further into the Brooklyn-based singer and producer’s perception of psychedelic, techno transcendence. The video leads us through a video game version of Michaels’ prana-centered encounter with the natural elements, to the tune of the track produced by Bruno Coviello, formerly of Light Asylum.

As Bunny told The Fader, “The song is about being in touch with your magic self, that creative powerful beingness that we all possess inside but easily forget about when we are living in a commercial culture that has told us since we were children that we need something outside of ourselves to be complete i.e. beauty, money, status,” she explains. “It’s about ‘waking up from the dream of illusion’ and remembering who we really are, which is already complete, beautiful and powerful.”
