If you’ve been following Chilean music for the past couple of years, you may have noticed that they are the modern masters of new Latino pop—from Gepe to Javiera Mena to Astro. New group Diente de Plata, with their self-dubbed “gypsy pop,” is no exception. Their upcoming self-titled EP will be out this summer just in time to fill that Chilean-pop-shaped hole in your heart.

For now, though, you can whet your appetite with their new track, “Prende Vela.” It’s a stab at the delightful fun pop that our skinny Southern Cone country is known for, with lyrics as sticky as toffee.
