Hot on the heels of his single “Trapanera,” El Dusty has unleashed “Cumbioso,” a track that embodies the best of what the burgeoning relationship between trap and cumbia sounds like. He’s partnered with Erick Jaimez on the brassy, 808-laden track. The key here is noting that the horns have a universal quality to them, and that any horn sample – especially when chopped and hit with a half-time snare roll – is going to immediately feel more turnt up than anything else. This track is certainly wild and ratchet, but the cumbia sweeps definitely give it a little more intrigue than the average main stage EDM production. Download it for free here.
