Maybe it’s because I listened to “Like a Prayer” yesterday that I have Madonna on the mind, but Fakuta’s video treatment for “Tormenta Solar” reminds me of that equally blasphemous 1989 classic (with fewer burning crosses). In “Tormental Solar,” Fakuta rips bongs, dons gas masks, and chugs the blood of Christ…dressed as a nun. Director Bernardo Quesney tells a story of rebellion and unapologetic joy, peppering in plenty of unsettling images and fun graphics. Watch below.
