Bursting out of Sao Paolo comes Flying Buff, a production duo who decided to put their bass-heavy music backgrounds together and create a new generation of trap-inspired Brazilian electronic music. Mil Trutas is their latest self-released effort, and it’s filled with collaborations with hard-hitting locals like DJ Mako, and Mauro Telefunksoul. Overall, the tracks go through various iterations of tropical bass, mixing dembow with bass, and trap with Funk Carioca, as best illustrated on “Good Times.” On “Tambor,” the Arabic scale is cleverly blended with twerkable rhythms, and overlaid with vocals by Viní – it’s one of the EP’s best bangers.

The party-prone, twerk-ready Mil Trutas is available for free as long as you hit like on their Facebook page. Otherwise, you can stream it above.
