It’s Füete Billëte season, or at least that’s what the Puerto Rican hip-hop crew is forecasting with the recent one-two golpe of last week’s “Trå” and yesterday’s Internet drop of B-side “Una Changa,” featuring Spanish trap artist Yung Beef

“Una Changa” is a heavy hip-hop blend that is going to sound cute coming out of your car speakers Friday night (the chorus encourages lencería blanca, if that’s an option for you). Especially if you’re en route to throw some bills — a SoundCloud liner note shouts out strippers, and Rihanna’s “Throw It Up” slides down the pole at one point. A bilingual Yung Beef verse is a linguistic shift that would have been surprising if it weren’t for Beefie’s runway walks for HBA and Pigalle this spring.

His inclusion on this song may be a sign that Füete are thinking global when it comes to this new phase in the group’s career. “Trå” and “Una Changa” are strong moves back into the spotlight for the San Juan trio, whose recent phase focusing on other projects has thankfully come to an end for fans of their party rap. Consider the tracks early warning signs for upcoming album Papelón Citywhich is being presented by Mexico City’s rising music juggernaut NAAFI.

Füete Billëte will perform in Mexico City tonight alongside Jamez Manuel, Hiedrah’s Tayhana, Tygapaw, and members of NAAFI. For more info, click here, and be sure to check out the preview trailer below:
