Mexico City-based label Gold Frame has just delivered a pretty sweet preview of their fourth release by enigmatic Swiss future-bass producer Herr JohannThe track, “I Don’t Belong,” has been remixed by Red Broone of the main local players on their roster, and an artist who is perhaps just as enigmatic as Johann himself. Red Bro goes for what has become a hallmark for artists of his cadre in Mexico – deep and emotive melodies inspired by a mix of soul and R&B, (as opposed to being deep house-driven).

The mix of engaging synth lines with a straight forward 4×4 bass drum are complemented by a distorted trumpet-like instrument that fill the rhythmic holes. Red Bro’s take on the track works as a great teaser for the release, which will also include remixes by Mexico City future garage honcho Naked Geometry and Russian techno producer Ghostek.

Be sure to follow Gold Frame Records as well as Red Bro to get first dibs on Herr Johann’s What Are My Eyes 4 EP due on May 18th.
