Following the surprise success of “CoCo,” Long Beach-based MC O.T. Genasis has dropped a full-length mixtape titled R&B: Rhythm & Bricks. As the title suggests, the set has its fair share of club-banging beats and rhymes about selling dope, as well as plenty of West Coast flavor  – The Game and Snoop Dogg stop by the give their fellow LA representer some assistance.

The set also features a plethora of other guests, like Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne, K. Camp, and more. While the star wattage on this offering is impressive, it also means Genasis gets drowned out by his VIPs. There aren’t any instant standouts like “CoCo” here either, but “On My Mind” finds Genasis taking a break from money, drugs, and women to get reflective on staying successful, despite various trials and tribulations. Whether he’ll be able to get the club hype again remains to be seen.
