Enchufada‘s latest in their fifth season of Upper Cuts tracks highlights the work of Germany’s Motin and his latest production “Selva.” As five series of tunes have passed by, Upper Cuts has evolved into a genre-free zone highlighting the most impressive of progressive tropical bass. The “Amazonian acid kuduro-trap” of this one fits the bill, as Amazonian woodwind melodies weave their way through thick kuduro drums and a half-time breakdown inspired by what the American “Dirty South” has brought to dance music. A heavy and exciting pitch-shifter ready for peak-hour at the most underground of dance halls, this one is free-to-download and dissimilar to anything else produced at the moment.
