Remezcla brings you an exclusive premiere of Mijo’s debut release on Los Angeles techno family Sanfuentes Records, headed up by Vicente Sanfuentes, co-founder of Cómeme and half of the Surtek Collective duo. “Economic” flexes a slow-building, bare bones techno duro track. Ringing with a playful minimalist touch and contained, tightly-clipped vocal samples, the lead single doesn’t sacrifice any techmex punch.
The full Economic release drops on December 8th, and counts on Italian producer Fabrizio Mammarella–also known as Clap Rules and Telespazio–on remix duties, as well as a collaborative track between Mijo and Sanfuentes.
