On the track, the 20-year-old rapper-singer hailing from Los Angeles takes a flirty tone with a potential suitor, encouraging him to make his move over a disarmingly mellow and sexy Lil’ Jon production. While a verse from Wiz kicks off the song, it’s Raven’s sweet vocals and bad girl rap bars that make the track. It even has an Alicia Keys-esque phone call interlude, with Raven gushing to her homegirl about the night before. Cuffing season anthem, anyone?
The Mexican and Puerto Rican MC has certainly gained the support of legends in her native California (Snoop Dogg and Too $hort are fans), and with the new Wiz cosign, she’s poised to take over the mainstream in a big way. Her Valifornication mixtape is slated to drop any day now.
