Rey Pila’s journey to publish their first LP The Future Sugar has extended maybe a bit more than we wanted but surely it has been an exciting one for them.
First signed to Julian Casablanca’s Cult Records, and with a recently scored a deal with Arts & Crafts México under their belts, the band is sharing another single titled “Apex”, and just announced May 5th to be the release of their record. If you pre-order The Future Sugar on iTunes, you’ll get “Apex” along with the previous singles “Alexander” and “Blast”.
“Apex” sums up what this chilango synth rock band is all about: great synth work, dancey percussion and the euphoria of dancing your ass off all night long. You can download the track for free at Rey Pila’s website.
