The twin sisters of Nina Sky have offered up a preview of their upcoming Brightest Gold EP, dropping the summer club ready track “Forever.”
With NYC’s own Vito Fun and SpacePlant on production duties, the chilled out, almost glossy vocals float over a ’90s freestyle-inflected beat. With light touches of Jersey club‘s signature bed squeak samples, the smoothness of the track doesn’t sacrifice its ability to pop. The uptempo track is a far cry from their dancehall hit “Move Ya Body,” showing that the duo continues to evolve with each single, the most recent being their collaboration wtih Smoke DZA for the trippy cut “Stoners.”
Brightest Gold is due to drop this September. If you’re in the NYC area, don’t miss Nina Sky live at Perreo in the basement of Webster Hall’s House Party this Thursday, June 11th with False Witness, Riobamba, and a live performance from Princess Nokia.
