Chilean band Survey Team has announced that their sophomore record will be out this year and “Odisea de Violencia” is the first single. This pop piece features equal amounts of good synths and guitars – the single is delicate but punctuated with bursts of violence that are reflected in Carla Bolgueri’s vocals.
As per usual when it comes to Chilean music videos, this one includes nice shots of the countryside (this time in Til Til), as well as a troubled lead character who’s looking for something. Is the woman trying to relax? Is the woman running or hiding from someone? According to the lyrics, her spacey look might be about a breakup.
