The Soft Moon‘s latest video, “Wasting,” continues the twisted narrative of his previous release, “Far,” by placing Luis Vásquez in a fugue state yet again, this time at the hands of veteran actor Robert Forster. The Y2K-directed clip channels the real terror, turmoil, and seediness of the track, featured in The Soft Moon’s just-released Deeper off Captured Tracks, Vásquez’s home since his 2010 debut.
