Miami-based ratchet rap group Trapzillas‘ latest is “Sellin Qtrs,” a track that doesn’t deviate from its advertised topic. Bearing a haunting, spiraling church bell melody, the track brings Trapzillas’ brand of wildness to the dancefloor. The thumping bells and staccato racket of the 808-laden bassline join together for a dissonant yet cohesive whole. Charlie Bars’ drill-style lyrics include “[putting his] money on your head” while reminding you that if you “fuck with [his] bread you’ll end up dead.” This one is festivalworthy, but certainly in line with what’s running the clubs right now too.
