Tarte Cosmetics Launches Makeup Bundle Curated By This Latina Influencer

Tarte Cosmetics has curated products to create the “La Jefa” bundle in collaboration with Latina beauty content creator and music artist Angelica Torres, also known to her followers as Candy Lover (@candylover89).

This exciting collaboration offers shoppers the opportunity to add some of the brand’s best-selling favorites to their collections while also contributing to the Latine community. Launched in celebration of Our Heritage Month, this special curation features a selection of popular products designed to help you “embrace your inner ‘la jefa.’” The four products featured as Torres’ personal favorites include the iconic Shape Tape Concealer, the bestselling Maracuja Juicy Lip, the Maracuja Juicy Shift Blush, the illuminating Fake Awake Highlighter, and the Tartelette Tubing Mascara.

As it’s a bundled offering, purchasing this collection allows you to enjoy a percentage discount, saving you $20, all while supporting a meaningful cause. Tarte has committed to donating 100% of the net proceeds from this collaboration to the Hispanic Heritage Foundation. “We support teachers all year long by clearing teachers lists and renovating school breakrooms so I loved partnering with Angelic Torres to create scholarships for the hardworking students at the Hispanic Heritage Foundation,” said Tarte’s founder Mareen Kelly. “We raised money for over 20 academic HHF scholarships and were excited to donate 100% of the net proceeds from the sales of the tarte x @Candylover89 collection to support the efforts of remarkable Hispanic students to shape their futures!!”

Remezcla caught up with Milenka Gutierrez Albarracin, the program coordinator for HHF, who spoke on the positive impact of this collaboration. She expressed her appreciation, saying, “From the Hispanic perspective, it feels great that Tarte is invested in [us]. This collaboration is inclusive in its perspective of helping the community,” she told Remezcla. “We feel very grateful that they took into consideration [the] Hispanic Heritage Foundation and the youth to continue giving them just the needs and the resources to have that drive that they currently already have.”

Torres celebrated her collection with tarte in Miami with the perfect Latina-inspired festivity that included the brand’s founder. Torres’ fans were quick to share their excitement for the collaboration — as captured in this one Instagram comment: “omg angelica!!! GO OFF GIRL!!”

In addition to 100% of the net proceeds going to the HHF, Tarte is also dedicating all of their heart to tarte donations made at checkout to the Hispanic Heritage Foundation until October 15.
