It doesn’t look like Teresa Giudice, star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, is a big fan of Sofía Vergara. The reality show celebrity didn’t have anything nice to say about Vergara during a recent episode of her podcast, Namaste B$tches, and voiced her opinion by mocking Vergara’s Colombian accent.
During the episode, Giudice reminisced about when she and Sofía Vergara posed for a photo together in 2017. According to Giudice, neither she nor Vergara were very excited about taking the picture, but Vergara apparently made it more obvious that she was annoyed by the request.
“Sofia Vergara’s PR person and my PR person spoke together, and I guess the two of them said, ‘Let’s get a picture of Teresa and Sofía together,’” Giudice said. “I didn’t want a picture with her. I never ask to take a picture with anybody. I didn’t care to take a picture with her. I’m so not like that.”
Giudice continued to describe how even setting up the picture didn’t go well. “When we went to take a picture, she was like standing in front of me,” she said. “It’s like, ‘OK, that’s not how you take a picture.’ She was, like, the most rudest woman I’ve ever met.”
Giudice then began to mock Vergara’s accent when describing comments that she said she overheard Vergara telling her publicist.
“I heard her say to her PR person, ‘Why you making me take a picture with that lady?’” Giudice said in a fake accent. “I was just like, ‘Excuse me?’ I said, ‘I did not want to take a picture with you.’ I said, ‘I would never ask to take a picture with you.’”
It’s one thing to complain about a situation that allegedly happened six years ago, but it’s something entirely different when you do it while throwing out racist vibes. Still, it’s a good thing Giudice didn’t show her anger by flipping any tables like she does on Real Housewives.
