It feels like the last men’s World Cup happened not that long ago, but FIFA is already gearing up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. As part of the preparations, music producers from each of the tournament’s 16 host cities have been selected by organizers to remix the Official FIFA World Cup 26 Theme, making sure each remix reflects the rhythm, vibe, and cultural essence of the city it represents. One Sonic ID will be released daily starting March 1.

Each Sonic ID-–a short audio clip–will be available to stream on all major music platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music, with FIFA also releasing a Sonic ID visualizer for each city on their YouTube channel.

The list of producers from each city includes producers from Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara, which are set to host games. For Mexico City, the theme was done by the Mexican Institute of Sound.

As for Monterrey, the theme was done by Toy Selectah.

And for Guadalajara, the theme was done by Bautista.

The full list is:

That means there are expected to be 104 matches played across three host nations: Mexico, the United States, and Canada. The World Cup is set to kick off on Thursday, June 11, 2026, with Mexico playing the opening game at Estadio Azteca.
