Apparently Rob Schneider and Adam Sandler Love Mexican Fútbol

Actor/comedian Rob Schneider has kept a pretty low profile over the past few years but fans of Mexican football club Tigres UANL know exactly where to find him once a week: on his twitter supporting Tigres UANL. Wait, what!?

Schneider recently tweeted a photo of himself in a Tigres jersey alongside his longtime buddy Adam Sandler also rocking the orange and blue claiming he made a new fan out of Sandler. It’s certainly not the first time he’s shown his love and support for the team from Nuevo Leon either.

Tigres fans have Patricia Arazcayo to thank for the comedian’s love affair with Tigres. Arazcayo met Schneider years ago in Mexico City where he was a guest on a program she was producing. The two married in 2011 and part of their wedding vows must have included that he support her favorite team, Tigres UANL, in all victories, draws, and losses until death do them part.

Tigres next game is this Friday where the team hosts Pachuca. We’re sure Schneider will tweet his support, broken Spanish and all.
