If you love Bad Bunny and F1, you’re in luck. Particularly if you’re in Puerto Rico. The singer is bringing F1 to his native island in collaboration with adidas Originals and Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS’ F1 Team. It’s all set to take place on August 2nd, and it will be the first time in history that a Formula 1 car has been on Puerto Rican soil.

The event will start at 9 am local time on Saturday, August 2nd. At that time, a Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 car is set to make a landmark demo run across the iconic Puente Dos Hermanos, with the team’s driver Esteban Gutiérrez at the wheel. The event is free and open to the public, and will also serve as a sneak preview of a forthcoming product collaboration between adidas Originals, Bad Bunny, and the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team.

But the demo run won’t be all.

Afterwards, fans will have a chance to get close to the F1 car and view a curated exhibit of authentic, historical racing gear from the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS archives, including authentic race suits, gloves, and boots. This will all take place at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico aka El Choli.

A video showcasing the installation was posted by Telemundo on Instagram.

Bad Bunny is currently in the middle of a 30-date concert residency in his native Puerto Rico, titled No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí (I Don’t Want To Leave Here). He has also branched out into acting under the name “Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio.” He is set to appear in the upcoming film Caught Stealing alongside Austin Butler and Zoë Kravitz. The movie hits theaters on August 29.

The next F1 race after this Puerto Rican event will be the Hungarian GP, taking place on August 3rd.
