Bad Bunny is back with another major collaboration. On Oct. 24, the sportswear brand unveiled the Puerto Rican icon’s newest collection with adidas Originals and Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1.
“The track opens early. ⏱️ The adidas Para Bad Bunny x Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Motorsport Collection,” adidas announced online earlier today (Oct. 24).
The new racing-influenced collection includes a bright yellow cap with the year 94 in bold silver lettering, a presumed nod to Benito’s birth year. It also features yellow gloves, a gray zip-up hooded jacket, and matching pants, a black flight jacket, and shirts with the year 94 on them. The featured footwear is a black Adiracer sneaker with white and yellow on it. It also highlights the year 94 on the front of the shoe.
The collection comes after the star brought F1 to Puerto Rico in collaboration with adidas Originals and Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS’ F1 Team in early August. It marked the first time that a Formula 1 car had been on his beloved island. This exhibition became the first sneak peek of his product collaboration, which we now have more details on. During that same weekend in August, fans also had a chance to get near the F1 car and enjoy a curated exhibit of authentic, historical racing gear from the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS archives at the same stadium that Benito performed his historic “No Me Quiero Ir De Aquí” residency.
