Brazil and Uruguay’s national fútbol teams just released their home and away kits ahead of the 2026 World Cup this summer. The two South American powerhouses are part of the latest launch of World Cup jerseys by Nike Football.

Putting modern twists on past kits, Nike Football’s 2026 federation collections “offer a deep exploration of each federation’s heritage, culture and identity — bringing forward a striking sense of optimism and future-facing inspiration. Home kits are anchored in each federation’s DNA, while away kits are designed as future classics, creating bold and authentic expressions for a new generation.”

Here’s a closer look at the home and away kits for Brazil and Uruguay.

Brazil home kit:

Brazil’s new yellow home kit — endearingly known to Brazilian fans as the Amarelinha — features a geometric pattern of the Brazilian flag knitted directly into the fabric. In the spirit of celebrating the fierce, five-time World Cup winners, the theme for the shirt is reflected in the collection’s concept of  “Alegria Que Apavora” or “the Joy That Threatens.” The shirt was designed by Rachel Denti, a Brazilian designer at Nike.

Brazil away kit:

Brazil marks the first country Nike’s Jordan Brand teams up with to create an away kit. In a new twist on Brazil’s usual blue away jersey, the kit features a dark, moodier palette with bright yellow accents,  inspired by the animals of the Amazon rainforest.

Uruguay home kit:

Uruguay’s kit embodies the team’s  “garra charrúa” or fighting spirit, and in honor of La Celeste, the nickname for Uruguay’s fútbol team, the home kit features a skyblue jersey with a white ribbed polo collar and navy accents.

Uruguay away kit:

Unlike past white-and-blue away kits, Uruguay’s away kit features a futuristic-looking dark hyper blue color meant to evoke that same “garra charrúa,” this time in a more disruptive expression. The Asociación Uruguaya de Fútbol crest features a metallic sheen laid over a design that pays homage to the stadium where Uruguay won the 1930 World Cup

All of Nike Football’s kits are made with Nike’s Aero-FIT performance cooling technology, designed to help athletes stay cool and focused in the hot weather anticipated throughout this summer’s tournament.

“Our national team kits start with the athletes who wear them and the fans who stand behind them,” shares Nike President Amy Montagne in a statement. “These players carry a nation on their backs, and their kits travel with football culture far beyond the pitch. We take that pride seriously. These kits bring the best of Nike together with an apparel innovation designed to remove climate as a variable for athletes, and design that reflects a deep connection to each federation’s DNA — creating something athletes feel proud to wear and fans feel truly connected to.”
