English giant Manchester United has demonstrated a firm interest in Hirving Lozano, the Mexican prodigy who plays for C.F. Pachuca. The young forward has made a few stellar appearances for his club this season and he is already a key El Tri player at Copa América Centenario.
Rumors of Chucky’s arrival in the English Premier League have been swirling for several weeks, but today, Andrés Fassi, Pachuca’s vice president, affirmed Lozano should be joining Manchester United.
Jose Mourinho will be at the helm at United at the start of next season, but the club needs additional firepower up front even if Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic signs.
“There have been approaches (of Manchester United) and also of many clubs and there will be a time to focus on the future of Hirving Lozano,” Fassi told Mexican newspaper Record.
“Pachuca aims to keep its players unless it is very beneficial to the situation club. For several years, Pachuca has had a great relationship with many teams of England, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, and in Germany. There are some agreements that allow the players to go to Europe in the future.”
