YO. If you ever thought that Ecuador’s senior national team was the only squad that knew how to ball, you were severely mistaken. La Tri is on a demolition path in all categories across competitions at the moment; the senior team pulled off a legendary 2-0 win over Argentina a few weeks back, then went on to beat Bolivia 2-0 in monsoon conditions, and now the U-17s are heading to a World Cup quarterfinal matchup vs. Mexico after crushing Russia 4-1.

John Pereira was the hero of the night, opening the score after blowing past Andrei Zakharov around the midway line, sprinting the length of the half and tucking the ball into the opposite corner of the net.
