Ricardo “Tuca” Ferretti just shared a provisional list of 32 players for Mexico’s crucial game at the Rose Bowl on October 10 against the United States. The match will determine a CONCACAF spot in the 2017 Confederations Cup in Russia.

Ricardo Ferretti included the Dos Santos brothers, along with 2014 goalie sensation Guillermo Ochoa, who had all been left out of the squad’s game against Argentina last week. Now they’re back on El Tri.

The selection of defender José Arturo Rivas from Tigres – who got his first call-up – is perhaps the biggest surprise.

Are these the best choices to end the U.S.’ winning streak?

Goalkeepers: Guillermo Ochoa (Málaga/Spain); Moisés Muñoz (Club América/Mexico); Alfredo Talavera (Toluca/Mexico); Jonathan Orozco (Monterrey/Mexico)

Defenders: Paul Aguilar (Club América/Mexico); Diego Reyes (Real Sociedad/Spain); Rafael Márquez (Hellas Verona/Italy); Hector Moreno (PSV Eindhoven/Netherlands); Miguel Layún (Porto/Portugal); Hector Herrera (Porto/Portugal); Oswaldo Alanís (Guadalajara/Mexico); Arturo Rivas (Tigres/Mexico); Miguel Herrera (Pachuca/Mexico); Jorge Torres Nilo (Tigres/Mexico)

Midfielders: Israel Jiménez (Tigres/Mexico); Andrés Guardado (PSV Eindhoven/Netherlands); José Juan Vázquez (León/Mexico); Jesús Dueñas (Tigres/Mexico); Javier Aquino (Tigres/Mexico); Jonathan Dos Santos (Villarreal/ Spain); Luis Montes (León/Mexico); Carlos Peña (León/Mexico); Javier Güémez (Club América/Mexico)

The U.S. soccer team has a record of six games undefeated vs. Mexico, with three draws and three wins.
