Go, Dodgers, Go!

The Dodgers beat the Phillies tonight 7-2 in game three of the National League Championship Series, as the biggest crowd in Dodger Stadium history waved their white and blue hand towels in victory. The team, who lost the first two games to Philadelphia, let everybody know they meant business by scoring five runs in the first inning. Thanks to a triple by Blake DeWitt and reliable Dominican sluggers Rafael Furcal and Manny Ramirez, along with solid pitching, the Dodgers made sure fans slept easy, at least tonight.

The Dodgers play in L.A. again tomorrow. The team who wins the best of seven goes on to the World Series with either the Boston Red Sox or Tampa Bay Rays. It has been 20 years since the Dodgers have gone all the way.
