During last night’s Copa América match against Uruguay, Chilean player Gonzalo Jara got himself banned from the remainder of the tournament for…trying to finger Uruguayan player Edison Cavani’s butt in the 63rd minute of the match?

Seems unlikely when I type it out, and yet the photos/footage don’t lie.

The situation got even weirder when Jara then threw himself on the ground and claimed Cavani had hit him in the face. Cavani was obviously having none of this:

The incident ended with Cavani receiving a second yellow card (the first for sassing to the ref’s assistant), and with Jara reportedly suspended from the remainder of the Copa.

The moral of the story: don’t put your finger in people’s butts unless they ask you to.
