The group stage of the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup has concluded with thrilling matchups, standout performances, and a few surprising twists along the way.
In Group A, Mexico secured the top spot, closely followed by Costa Rica where both teams secured 7 points after defeating the Dominican Republic and Suriname while their head-to-head encounter ended with a draw.
In Group B, Canada came on top with 7 points, while Honduras secured the second place despite suffering a heavy 0-6 loss against Canada.
In Group C, Panama lived up to expectations by finishing at the top with a perfect record, with Guatemala earning the second place. Panama’s rise to prominence in CONCACAF is backed by recent runs to the finals—not only reaching the 2023 Gold Cup final, where they narrowly lost to Mexico, but also making it to the 2025 Nations League final—showing consistency on the regional stage.

Just like Panama, Group D was comfortably led by the United States, also with a perfect record (9 points), despite recent setbacks—including a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Canada in the CONCACAF Nations League final, and consecutive friendly losses against Turkey and Switzerland. On the other hand, the invited guest nation, Saudi Arabia clinched the second place with 4 points, both benefiting from a relatively easy competition.
The quarter-finals promise exciting matchups as the Gold Cup moves into the knockout stage. On June 28, the evening kicks off at 7:15pm at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, where Panama takes on Honduras while at 10:15pm Mexico will face Saudi Arabia.
The action continues on June 29 at 4:00pm at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota where Canada meets Guatemala. The quarter-final action concludes with the hosts United States taking on Costa Rica in what should be a promising and contested match.

The 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup English broadcast will air on FOX, FS1, FOXSports.com and the FOX Sports App and the Spanish broadcast on Univision and TUDN.
