The deal is done: Marco Fabián is on his way to the Bundesliga.

Chivas de Guadalajara and Eintracht Frankfurt have come to an agreement that will reportedly send the Mexican international to Germany on a three-year, $4 million contract.

The move comes at an opportune moment for the midfielder star, who has scored 10 goals in 31 games for Chivas since returning from a short loan spell with Cruz Azul to compete in the 2015 Clausura.

Fabián will be the second Mexican connected to Eintracht – who counted on defender Aarón Galindo from 2007 to 2008 – and one of only seven futbolistas mexicanos to ever play in the Bundesliga after Pavel Pardo, Ricardo Osorio, Aarón Galindo, Francisco Rodríguez, Andrés Guardado, and Javier “Chicharito” Hernández. His new side currently sits in 15th in the German league table with 14 points.

He will face Chicharito’s Bayer Leverkusen on April 16. Mark your calendars. ??
