A few weeks ago, a picture of a young boy wearing a plastic bag made to resemble Lionel Messi’s fútbol jersey circulated on the Internet. After everyone banded together to track him down, it was revealed that the boy in the touching photos was 5-year-old Murtaza Ahmadi from Afghanistan.

His uncle revealed that Murtaza’s parents couldn’t afford to buy him a Messi jersey, so he fashioned his own. Now, in another example that the Internet can be used for good, Murtaza has received Barcelona gear, though he still sweetly wore his makeshift jersey over it.

On Monday, the Afghan Football Federation announced that it was working with Messi’s people so that the young boy from Ghazni can meet his idol, according to Marca.
