Mexican Fútbol Is Coming to Netflix — Here’s the Latest

If you want to watch some of the biggest matches in regional fútbol from Mexico, you’ll have to get Netflix. That’s right, the streaming giant has inked a four-year deal for the rights to the Concacaf Nations League Finals and the Concacaf Gold Cup tournaments.
Those two tournaments are the two biggest sporting events organized by CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central American, and Caribbean Association Football). Mexico is the current Nations League Champions and the current Gold Cup winner.
Mexico is one of the host countries for this year’s FIFA World Cup. The Netflix deal does not include the World Cup, and it won’t go into effect until 2027. However, once it goes into effect, Netflix will be the exclusive home for the 2027 and 2029 editions of both regional competitions.
The Gold Cup is the official regional championship, the equivalent of South America’s Copa America. The Nations League, meanwhile, is a competition involving all CONCACAF members in a league format, with home and away games. The Nations League is the main qualification tournament for the Gold Cup.

It also reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality access to tournaments that mean so much to our region.”
The next edition of the CONCACAF Nations League is set to take place in March 2027, with matches at SoFi Stadium in California. The next edition of the Gold Cup, meanwhile, will be played next summer.
