Once again, MLB is proving that there’s a space for our communities in the sport. Today (April 21st), the league launched “Flow Mayor,” this season’s Spanish-language campaign spot.

The campaign builds on the success of “El Béisbol Es Otra Cosa” (“Baseball Is Something Else”), which launched in 2024 to illustrate how many aspects of Latine culture can be seen in baseball every day. And it also follows the 2025 campaign that featured Lin-Manuel Miranda.

The spot has both a Spanish and a Spanglish version, and it can be watched here and on the MLB social media channels. This year’s spot is narrated by artist Eladio Carrión, who appears as the lead within the “Oficina del Flow Mayor” or “Office of Flow.” This new campaign was also produced in conjunction with Remezcla Creative Agency.

“They say it’s a game of numbers,” Carrión says. “But what about flow? That is a different science.” As he speaks, we see some of the biggest Latino players in the sport, as well as other Latine “cultural tastemakers,” including Chef Enrique Olvera, Designer Angelo Baque, artist Jessie Reyez, and Legendary Chicano tattoo and graffiti artist Mister Cartoon, while “Daikoku,” an unreleased track from Carrión’s upcoming album, can be heard.

“With ‘Flow Mayor,’ we are honoring the incredible influence Latine culture has on baseball,” said Steven Tyler, MLB Senior Director, Global Brand Management. “By collaborating with visionaries like Eladio Carrión and our ‘Oficina del Flow’ artists, we’re creating a shared language that celebrates the unique style and passion our players and fans bring to the diamond.”

The celebration of culture will feature exclusive drops scheduled throughout the season, including apparel, collectibles, food, and more in the spirit of “Flow Mayor.” The spot will appear across MLB Media outlets, including MLB Network and MLB.com; MLB broadcast partners, including FOX, FS1, ESPN, TBS, NBC, NBC Sports Network, ESPN Deportes, FOX Deportes, Universo, Telemundo, Univision, Peacock, and Apple TV; and across other paid digital media sites.

“Because flow isn’t about just one player. It’s from a whole crew that fires up stadiums from San Diego to Santo Domingo and everywhere in between,” Carrión also says in the spot. And MLB is celebrating just that, starting now.
