The Super Bowl is an experience. Whether you’re there to see your team hopefully win, enjoy the game even if you’re not particularly invested in who lifts the trophy, or only there for the Halftime show (Bad Bunny!), that much is true. And the NFL understands that, which is why in the lead-up to Super Bowl LX, it has opened registration for its two largest fan events and announced a number of watch parties, one of them taking place in Mexico.
Yes, the NFL has announced it will host official Super Bowl LX watch parties across seven countries, including Mexico. Other countries where there will be watch parties are Australia, Brazil, Germany, Spain, Canada, and the U.K.
Mexico’s history with the NFL is long. The country has hosted twelve NFL games between pre-season and regular season, 5 of those being regular-season games. In the last few years, the NFL has not played in Mexico due to renovations taking place in the Estadio Azteca for the FIFA 2026 World Cup. The NFL is, however, returning to Mexico for a regular-season game in 2026.
Super Bowl LX will be held at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, which is in the San Francisco Bay Area. On top of the watch parties, the NFL will also have the Super Bowl Experience presented by Jersey Mike’s, which will take place Feb. 3–7 in San Francisco, and the Super Bowl Opening Night fueled by Gatorade, which will take place Feb. 2 in San Jose.
“We are thrilled to kick off an exciting week of celebrations with Super Bowl Opening Night and Super Bowl Experience in the Bay Area,” said Peter O’Reilly, NFL executive vice president of club business, league events and international. “From our on-the-ground events across the Bay to official watch parties abroad, these activations are both a celebration of our incredible host and a way for fans of all ages around the world to truly feel part of Super Bowl LX.”
