On January 1, Mark Gonzalez, the new district attorney in Corpus Christi’s Nueces County, was sworn into office in a private ceremony. He took to Twitter afterward to celebrate the private moment with a photo, which is why we know he was living his best Cowboys life in a Cole Beasley jersey and cowboy boots.

According to SportsDay, Gonzalez “is a career defense lawyer with the words “Not Guilty” tattooed across his chest.”

The Caller-Times reports that he’s scheduled to have a public swearing-in Jan. 12 in the Nueces County Courthouse – here’s hoping he keeps it just as 100.
