Famous Venezuelan musician and humanitarian Oscar D’León visited Uruguayan team Peñarol on the 124th anniversary of the team’s founding.

Posing next to international Uruguayan players Diego Forlán and Marcelo Zalayeta for pictures, the salsa maestro seemed to have a great time, or at least that’s what we can tell by his warm smile.

Oscar D’León was given a Peñarol jersey with the number 1891 – the year the team was founded – and also a Club Atlético Peñarol member card.

One of the most famous Caribbean musicians of all time, D’León now puts a lot of his efforts into humanitarian projects, such as collaborating with Operación Sonrisa, which brings medical help to children with craniofacial malformations, consisting principally of cleft lips and palates.
