Now that we know that footballistas are taking their cues from fútbolistas and their jersey-exchanging ways, maybe the NFL can be persuaded to model their uniforms after soccer teams. Unlike the space-hogging numbers on football jerseys, soccer players’ jerseys are more streamlined.
Graphic designer Nerea Palacios redesigned the uniforms of the 32 NFL teams in the style of soccer kits. She did away with words and tried to focus on the “essence” of the teams.
While these look dope, they won’t really work on the football field because of all the padding required.
