Between eeeeoowwww (a sad cat noise) and okuuuuuuurt (a cold pigeon noise), Cardi B has built a reputation for the sounds she makes. They punctuate her very quotable phrases, and bring us a lot of joy if we’re being honest. That’s why the folks over at Mitú decided to mix Cardi’s sound effects with Star Wars. On May 4 – the unofficial holiday of the franchise – the team over at Mitu created a supercut of scenes and embedded her voice into the video, replacing light saber swooshes, Chewbacca murmurs, Emperor Palpatine’s evil laugh, and more with Cardi sounds. The result is so perfect and worth a million re-watches at least.
