John Leguizamo is just the latest Latino celebrity slamming Saturday Night Live for their decision to let Donald Trump host the November 7 episode. In an interview with Yahoo News and Finance Anchor Bianna Golodryga, Leguizamo revealed that he is responding to the disrespectful booking by boycotting the show.
“I mean, I’m all for freedom of speech, don’t get me wrong,” he said. “I believe in freedom of speech. This is different… If he had said those things about any other ethnic group, he would not be on SNL.” Leguizamo continued to say that he felt hurt and insulted that NBC and SNL were allowing hate-spewing Trump on the show. “I won’t watch SNL anymore.”
Leguizamo made it perfectly clear that it’s not political correctness that has earned Trump so many critics; it’s his hatemongering.
