The 37th annual Dia de los Muertos celebration by Self Help Graphics & Art will take place at the East Los Angeles Civic Center on November 2. In the last four decades, Self Help Graphics & Art has provided free workshops to the community with the intent to create a safe place to celebrate a vibrant tradition.
The event will be 6 hours (5pm-11pm) of altars, live music, comedy, arts & crafts and local food. The event, culminating with an evening at the Civic Center, will begin at Cesar Chavez Avenue and Mednick Avenue with a Day of the Dead procession. All of this fun-filled activity is free to you and your family.
