Feid is officially taking the Ferxxocalypsis to the Copa América 2024. On June 18, the Colombian artist confirmed his presence during the tournament’s opening ceremony. He also revealed how fans can tune in to the exciting performance from home.
“Hey, mor! 😉 We’ll experience an unforgettable opening party – the continent will vibrate! 🏆,” the tournament posted online. In the new Instagram video, the “LUNA” singer invites his fans to watch the performance and the opening soccer match between Argentina and Canada. He also says that the non-attending audience can watch the performance via Copa América’s social media channels.
Per the press release, the highly-anticipated show is expected to feature “some of his biggest and latest hits, and a top-notch on-field setup for an unforgettable performance.”
“Since we began organizing CONMEBOL Copa América 2024™️, we focused on involving and supporting artists like Feid, who represent the passion and dedication of South Americans,” the president of CONMEBOL, Alejandro Domínguez, said in a press statement. “Our goal is to make this CONMEBOL Copa América™️ an unforgettable, vibrant tournament that all fans can feel the greatness of our football, and we are sure that with this opening show, we are moving towards that goal.”
The opening ceremony is scheduled to happen before the first match, which starts on June 20 at 8 p.m. ET at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA. With that in mind, the festivities will most likely start two hours earlier at 6 p.m. ET, giving time for the performance and national anthems to occur before kick-off.
Fans at home can watch the Copa América 2024 via FOX Sports (FOX, Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2, and the Fox Sports app) in English-language. For Spanish-language, fans can watch the tournament via Univision, TUDN, and other channels owned by TelevisaUnivision, including ViX and UniMas.
