Video: Polock's "Fireworks"

I thought this song already had a video. Either way, the boys of Polock just released the video for standout track “Fireworks” from their debut album Getting Down from the Trees. I’m instantly reminded of Chikita Violenta’s recent (and awesome) video for “Roni,” or The Antlers’ “Bear” or Local Natives’ “Who Knows, Who Cares,” or any other video with hip people hanging out in the woods. But it’s shot nicely and goes well with the song’s “we’re young so fuck it” feel. It’s also befitting the album’s title, because there are, you know, trees in this video.

If you’re South By bound, then make sure to hit up one of Polock’s shows, sure to be filled with plenty of fellow bespectacled young folk such as yourself. In the meantime, watch the just-premiered visual incarnation of “Fireworks” below and download the band’s “Nightshot” as part of our March Playlist, No Jodas con Texas: A SXSW Sampler.
