La Mafia del Amor is one of the PXXR GVNG crew’s most recent incarnations. The Spanish crew is made up of Yung Beef, Khaled, and Madrid’s D. Gómez. The collective has quickly become a favorite for their catchy-as-fuck tracks that toe the line between rap and reggaeton.
On “Tu Pussy Ta Weno,” produced by their head beatmaker Steve Lean, the men pay homage to the art of cunnilingus that had a lot of ladies in the office like :raising_hand: – even if their comparisons to “fresa y melocotón” aren’t the most original. PXXR GVNG‘s sound is yet another testament to the geography/genre-defying potential of the internet. Here we have a bunch of Spaniards playing with Caribbean Latin sounds and U.S. trap, and the end result is dance-floor perfection.
