Bad Bunny fans are going wild on social media after a video surfaced of the superstar making out with an unidentified woman inside a club in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The first video that started making its rounds on the internet Monday (August 1) made it seem as if a woman wearing a green dress stole a kiss from Bad Bunny, who was trying to give her a smooch on the cheek. The woman, however, turned her face and planted a kiss on his lips. She then flirtatiously smiled and said, “Oops.” Bad Bunny looked a bit stunned but smiled back and walked away.
Whether it was a stolen kiss or not, another video later shows Bad Bunny returning for seconds.
Plenty of social media users went off on what seemed like Gabriela Berlingeri standing next to Bad Bunny during the makeout session — who, until recently, most people believed was Benito’s girlfriend. During an Instagram Live last month, Bad Bunny clarified that he and Berlingeri were “best friends.”
“If tomorrow she wants to have a boyfriend, she can have one because we are friends,” he said. “Just like me, if I want to have a girlfriend, I can have one because we are best friends.”
Based on fans’ reaction to the kiss online, either they missed the memo about Bad Bunny and Berlingeri’s relationship status or simply didn’t believe it. Some think it’s more likely that the two are in an open relationship.
“Bad Bunny said him and Gabriela are best friends and everyone said ‘he’s being sarcastic’ like if you guys were actually there and know them personally,” one Twitter user wrote. “Let the man live in his open relationship and worry about your own life.”
Others had a more visceral reaction to seeing Bad Bunny locking lips with an alleged stranger.
Many are playfully joking on Berlingeri’s strength to stand by this hookup (if that was her), comparing her to military forces.
A few people thought Berlingeri should also publicly turn the tables and see if that “best friends” theory works both ways.
For those who don’t believe Bad Bunny and Berlingeri are just friends, the kissing in the club was nothing less than a musician being unfaithful.
