Brice Gonzalez, the 6-year-old son of the father-and-son TikTok duo known as the Enkyboys, paid tribute to his dad Randy late Thursday night (January 26) on social media. Randy died Wednesday after an ongoing battle with colon cancer. He was 35.

“I wish I could hug you & give you a kiss one more time dad, but I know you will be watching over me, mom and the girls,” he wrote. “Until I see you again dad. I promise to make you proud. I love you.”

Randy and Brice became popular on TikTok for posting comedy sketches, which racked up nearly 16 million followers on the platform. During their success on social media, Brice began landing roles on TV shows and movies. He currently plays George Lopez’s grandson on the NBC series Lopez vs. Lopez.

“My sincerest condolences to Brice and the entire Gonzalez family,” Lopez wrote. “The love and the bond Randy had for his son and his family was undeniable, you can see it in every video. He will be missed, but never forgotten. My heart goes out to the entire family. Dios te bendiga.”

Mayan Lopez, George’s real-life daughter who also stars on the sitcom, paid tribute to Randy on social media.

“Randy, you brought so much joy and laughter to millions and millions of people including myself,” she wrote. “The love for your son and family was clear and a beautiful thing to witness. You will be honored and never forgotten.”

Constance Marie, who made an appearance on the Lopez vs. Lopez Christmas special this past December, re-posted a video of Randy and Brice spending time with one another and creating TikTok content.

“Heaven just got the most entertaining angel… Randy Gonzalez,” she wrote.

Lopez vs. Lopez showrunner Debby Wolfe, who is half Salvadorian, remembered Randy as an “incredibly talented director, producer, actor, philanthropist, cancer awareness advocate…amazing father, husband, [and] beloved by his millions of followers on TikTok.”

“Truly, a great loss to this world,” she wrote. “Rest in peace Randy. Thank you for leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and joy.”

The Gonzalez family is planning a public memorial for Randy in Houston. More information will be shared with everyone soon.
