Young social media star Brice Gonzalez continues to expand from the TikTok platform that made him famous into other entertainment mediums.

Now, Gonzalez joins comedian George Lopez’s new TV series, Lopez vs. Lopez, which will debut on NBC on November 4, 2022. Last year, Gonzalez, best known for his funny videos on TikTok with his father under the name Enkyboys, was cast in the upcoming film Flamin’ Hot. The biopic is the directorial debut of actress Eva Longoria (Overboard), about the Frito-Lay janitor who invented Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.

“We are thankful and honored to have my son working with [George Lopez] and [NBC],” the official Instagram for Enkyboys posted. “Mom and dad [are] so proud of you!!!”

Lopez vs. Lopez stars two Lopezes – George and his daughter Mayan. Gonzalez will play “Chance,” the grandson of George Lopez’s character and son of Mayan’s character.

“I’m so happy to be here doing this show,” Brice Gonzalez told MySA. “I never thought I would be doing a show, even though I have always wanted to, and now I’m actually doing it, and I’m so happy. It feels good to be doing this! Thank you, God, for giving me this opportunity!”

Lopez vs. Lopez is described as “a working-class family comedy about dysfunction, reconnection, and all the pain and joy in between.” It’s produced by Bruce Helford and Debby Wolfe – the same team behind The Conners. Helford was also the co-creator of George Lopez, Lopez’s sitcom that ran from 2002 to 2007 on ABC.
